Occasional Swimmer's Kit (OSK)

Fully submersible to 66 feet/20 metres, the OSK (Occasional Swimmers Kit) is available in two options: the OSK1 and OSK2. Both offer complete communications capability and cater for non-waterproof radios (the ODK1) and waterproof radios (the ODK2).

Both systems comprise the fully submersible, single-sided TASC1 Headset and various PTT (Press To Talk) switch options (all submersible to 66 feet/20 metres), providing a flexible and scaleable approach in order to meet the challenges presented by waterborne operational environments.

The sole difference between the OSK1 and OSK2 is the waterproof radio carry bag. The OSK1 incorporates a waterproof radio carry bag, which enables the submersion of non-waterproof radios. OSK2 is worn with a submersible radio and is terminated with a user specified connector.

Fast Boat Kit (FBK)

The FBK1 (Fast Boat Kit) provides a waterproof communications capability for non-waterproof radios.

It comprises SELEX Communications military standard Scapa headset (a waterproof single-sided headset) that is specifically designed to be easily fitted into Gecko boating helmets, a waterproof radio carry bag with heavy duty zip, and a rugged, submersible in-line PTT switch with a heavy duty clothing clip attached.

The FBK1 is configurable for most analogue and digital radio units and is submersible to 2m.
