Daylight Headset

The Daylight Headset is designed for use with a wide range of radios used by the military and para-military organisations in the general course of their duties.

> Weatherproof and able to withstand severe exposure to rain, snow, humidity and temperatures as low as -20C
> A noise excluding cover is available for use in medium to high noise environments where the user needs to block out external noise to hear the tranmission
> Respirator adaptor is optional when used with most in service CBRN respirators
> The standard design includes a single down lead comprising a special safety semi latching radio connector

Invisio - Discreet Earpiece

Invisio is an bone conduction headset which fits securely into the ear and is particularly suited to any covert operation. The Invisio provides high quality audio in the ear for clear transmission in difficult environments. Due to its size Invisio can be used in most situations including in surveillance operations and under a helmet in combat.

Covert Speech

Ensuring reliability and clear communication, regardless of the situation or noise pollution Invisio allows the user to talk normally even in hushed tones

Speech creates sound as well as vibration and it is the vibration that the Invisio picks up. This method also allows it to filter out background noise by rejecting airborne sounds

TASC1

The TASC1 Headset from SELEX Communications is designed to be used in waterbourne operations and offers an exceptionally high audio quality in underwater high noise situations.

Waterproofing
A waterproof version is available, which is submersible to 66 feet / 20 metres. This makes it ideal for swimmers and divers needing to communicate immediately they are free of the water but still maintain audio contact below.

WACH900 Noise Reduction Headset

The new WACH 900 Headset, developed in conjunction with Sennheiser, is ideally suited for use by lightweight mounted infantry, light reconnaissance and support vehicle crew, and is designed to provide premium Active Noise Reduction (ANR) in high noise environments.

Headset Design
>
The WACH 900 headset comprises two contoured earshells, a neckband, soft head band and boom microphone.
> The ear cups are moulded for optimum passive noise reduction, and are designed to fit under a range of ballistic and protective helmets, including PASGT and MICH
> Optional neck and headband fixings available
> The fully adjustable steel neckband allows the headset to be worn with a helmet and is sprung to provide force to keep the earshells in place
> The soft headband is designed to fit over the head or helmet to keep it secure. The straps are fitted with adjustable velcro strips
> It has an interchangeable left to right handed microphone
> Respirator adaptor available

 


Wireless Headset System- Personal Area Network

SELEX Communications, the company which launched the world’s first warfighter wireless Press To Talk (PTT), now offers another world first: a wireless headset system specifically designed for military operations. The system reduces cumbersome cabling to the Combat Net Radio (CNR), improving operational effectiveness, reducing fatigue, and increasing survivability and lethality.

The two modes of operation are:
> RadioNet: wireless connection and operation of the command net radio
