> Avionics Communication, Navigation and Identification (CNI)

The UK Avionics CNI Business Segment provides the UK customer face for the delivery and support of radio communication, radio navigation, electronic warfare, display and identification products and systems.

Communication systems include V/UHF, HF, and satcom radios as well as intercommunication control systems, key management, antenna configuration consultancy and datalinks. Navigation systems include Doppler/GPS navigation systems for helicopters and transport aircraft, approach and landing systems and laser obstacle avoidance.

Electronic warfare capabilities include the laser warning receiver and missile launch detectors, cockpit controls/displays and processor units. Identification includes combat identification, IFF interrogators and transponders, fast jet collision avoidance system and consultancy.

The company provides optimised Human-Machine Interface solutions utilising combinations of NVG displays, switches and panel materials.The range of products are provided as individual equipment to European programmes such as the Typhoon or in optimised packages to the NATO AWACS and NH 90 Programmes.
